All gimbal parts are constructed from A-356 aluminum, and heat treated to T6 full hardness.
IMCO gimbal housing has a thicker casting than stock and features a removable bearing carrier pack for easy maintenance. The lower swivel fork is 40% stronger, than standard. The removable nameplate on top allows for quick access to the upper swivel shaft nut without removing the housing from the transom.
